When Bonnie and I approached the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the Champs-Elysees, in order to make a time lapse of the the monument, I noticed two scooters.  They had been abandoned by their most recent users, just left on the sidewalk, as part of a new green transportation initiative.  It’s happening in many parts of Paris.  While making the time lapse, a family from Las Vegas (the mother was a professional wedding photographer) asked me to take photos first of all the family, and then of the two parents.  I became part of the scene and you see me there with my hat.
