The “Burj Khalifa” — the World’s tallest building

When Bonnie and I were on our way to the Maldives to dive on the live aboard yacht “Orion,” we had a brief layover in Dubai.  While Bonnie rested in a hotel, an old friend, the inspirational writer Seline Shenoy, took me to the real estate development where the world’s tallest building, the “Burj Khalifa,” is located.  The edifice is impossible to do justice in a photograph — at least when you are close. Simply put, one cannot capture its fantastic height.  The building It is surrounded by high end shopping malls, tony restaurants, and a huge pool with fabulous fountains.  People mill about in their materialistic world.
